What's the difference between your ceremony packages?

Sharon offers three levels
All the Bells and Whistles is a full-service ceremony which includes a personally written love story, guest coordination, announcements, PA system with bluetooth, on site rehearsal.
Intimate Ceremony is warm and personalised, ideal for smaller guest lists.
Legals Only Service for couples who simply need to fulfil the legal requirements without a formal ceremony.

Every package includes all legal forms and BDM marriage certificate delivery.

Question 2

What's actually required by law to get married in Australia?

Accepted Answer

Australian law requires a Notice of Intended Marriage to be lodged at least one month before the wedding. Sharon completes this as the first task for every couple – as you cant marry without it. Two witnesses present on the day, the legal monitum read aloud - the couple to repeat after me the Legal Vows and the signing of the Marriage Register. Sharon handles all of this seamlessly — you don't need to think about any of it.

Can we write our own vows?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and Sharon encourages it. Personal vows sit alongside the legal vows and are one of the most powerful moments of any ceremony. Sharon can guide you through writing them if you're not sure where to start, and she'll keep them private from your partner until the day.

Question 4

What if we don’t want to read aloud or be the centre of attention?

Accepted Answer

This is more common than you think. Sharon totally understands and wants you to speak up. It is important you feel comfortable on the day, relaxed and enjoy the process.

If you wish to add personal vows and not read them aloud, Sharon can read them for you, adding it to the conclusion of the story. You could also read them in private for a photo moment or you can share a letter whilst getting ready. So many intimate and precious options

Question 5

Do you provide a PA system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sharon brings a cordless PA system with microphones to every ceremony — no electricity required, so it works anywhere from a clifftop to a paddock. Music can be connected via Bluetooth, USB or input cable.

Question 6

How long does a wedding ceremony usually take?

Accepted Answer

All the Bells and Whistles full-service ceremony typically runs 20 to 30 minutes, however Sharon recommends allowing 45 minutes from walking down the aisle till the hand over to the photographer after the group photo.

Intimate Ceremony is 15 minutes – so allow 30 minutes total.

Legals Only ceremony can be completed in under 5 minutes.

Sharon designs every ceremony with your guest experience in mind, so timing is always intentional.

Question 7

What is the BDM Marriage Certificate and do I need it?

Accepted Answer

The BDM (Births, Deaths and Marriages) Certificate is the official government marriage certificate required for name changes and legal purposes. Sharon registers your marriage and has the certificate delivered to you by registered post — it's included in every package.

Question 8

Can we have a rehearsal?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a rehearsal is included in the Bells and Whistles full-service package and covers positioning, choreography, timing and photography tips. Sharon is meticulous about this because the difference between a rehearsed ceremony and an unrehearsed one shows in every photo and the comfort level of the couple.
